Richard Alston
Contemporary choreographer Richard Alston (1948-) began making dances at the London Contemporary Dance School, where he began his studies. In 1980 he was offered the role of resident choreographer for Ballet Rambert, where he stayed for a dozen years. In 1994, he became the artistic director for The Place, in London, where he created his own dance company.
